How does a career on concert stages shape landscape lighting? For 35+ years, I have worked in the professional lighting industry. I have done concert and theatrical lighting, both as a designer and on the technical side.
Where did my lighting career begin?
I started early with a local production company. My first real step into lighting came when I began touring with musical groups.
Over the years, I went from local club acts to large arena tours and live events. Along the way, I gained deep knowledge of lighting and a real passion for it. I love painting pictures with light. I take pride in creating something beautiful and memorable.
What makes my approach different?
I believe it comes down to attention to detail and a passion for the art of light. Every lighting design should be unique, never cookie-cutter. I aim for work that is both beautiful and technically sound.
Our signature look is warm 2700K light, soft and low, with no glare. My work has earned Masters of Landscape Lighting recognition.
What do I enjoy most about landscape lighting?
I love the challenge of creating something beautiful for each client. I also love the look on their faces when they first see their landscape lit. That is something I never forget.
Every project begins with a daytime consultation. After installation, I return at night to fine-tune each fixture.
Why does experience in the professional lighting industry matter?
I’m proud to be part of a profession that brings light and life to my clients’ landscapes. I’m also a Raleigh native with long roots in the Triangle. With 35+ years of experience, I’m confident I can bring something special to your project.
